Anita G. Baker, RN, BSN, CMC
President
Anita is a seasoned Nurse with more than 30 years of experience in geriatric nursing, home care, long-term care, and care management. A native of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina, Anita has a wide variety of experience in all aspects of Nursing, with a particular focus on geriatric care.
In addition to her 10 years of experience as a Geriatric Care Manager, her accomplishments include: establishing a skilled nursing care center within a retirement home in Baton Rouge, LA; serving as Director of Nursing for a Retirement Community in Illinois; facilitating a number of Support groups for the Alzheimer’s Association; and teaching community-based dementia caregiver education courses.
Anita earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Nursing. She is certified as a Certified Care Manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers, and is a member of the Aging Life Care Association™.
After 35 years of living and working in New York, Louisiana, Illinois and Virginia, she and her husband returned to their beloved home state and now reside in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
